Janosik Mountain Cottage is a cottage to which we have a great fondness. For years it served us as a holiday destination. After its renovation, we are making it available to you. So that you can taste a family holiday surrounded by the beauty of mountain nature. As the name suggests, this cottage is furnished in the highland style. This cottage has highland furnishings, with sashing on the curtains and tablecloths.

Surroundings of Janosik Mountain Cottage

The cottage stands on a large, fenced plot. You can come to us with children or dogs without worrying about their safety. The lush, perennial vegetation, including perennial spruce and pine trees. A high hedge row will ensure your privacy, even from the holidaymakers immediately adjacent to you! There is no chance that you will see them even from the terrace. You will meet in two cases: when you arrange, for example, an evening with a glass of wine or a barbecue, or in the car park [although the latter option is not guaranteed ;)].

On the plots there are also bushes of delicious juicy raspberries planted by our own hands. They are not sprayed with any chemicals, so their delicious natural taste explodes on your tongue.

The cottage is located near a stream. There you can catch your breath from everyday life in front of the monitors or dip your feet in the cool water.

The plot has a mini playground for children (including a slide and swings). Lots of green space for playing and ball games. A toy tractor for children and other garden toys are also available on request. A large terrace with garden furniture, awning and barbecue is adjacent to the Janosik Góralski cottage. This is a great place to relax with a book or a glass of wine after an eventful day.

On the neighbouring plot of the Mountain Cottage is the Janosik 2 Comfort Cottage. Nearby is also the Janosik Premium Cottage.

Premises

The cottage is entered through a lockable porch and then a vestibule.

The heart of the cottage is the cosy lounge with fireplace. Here you will find a comfortable double sofa bed to sleep on. There is also a sideboard, a cupboard with a TV and a DVD player. We also provide an HDMI cable, so you can plug in your laptop with Netflix.

In the alcove there is a folding table with chairs .

The kitchen is fully equipped, so you don’t need to bring any extras with you. Well, unless you have your favourite mugs :). The kitchen has a coffee machine (for capsules), microwave, cooker with oven and a large fridge.

The bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet, sink and even a washing machine. You can take less luggage and wash all your clothes on the spot! We also have a towel dryer, a hairdryer and a basket for dirty linen. We will also provide you with a baby kit on request. It includes a potty, a toilet seat cover, a bath tub and a step stool for elevating the child.

Upstairs there is a bedroom with a large comfortable double bed, two bedside tables and reading lamps, a large chest of drawers and a cupboard. We will also provide you with a cot for babies and small children on request.

In the loft there is a single bed and a mattress (a classic mattress on a bed frame, not that inflatable) as a sixth sleeping place. In addition, there are two bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers at your disposal.

Media

The cottage is year-round.

The main heating of the cottage is by means of accumulation cookers (located in each room). If necessary and for pleasure, a fire can be lit in the fireplace.

Water is heated by an electric boiler, the cottage draws water from its own well and discharges waste water into the communal sewage system.
